Wii

Features

All of the mods offered below basically have the same features. Their main purpose is to boot backup discs. The Wii can run homebrew natively however you can just as easily run homebrew on an unmodded console. The main differences between the chips is the amount of wires they require to solder in place and what Wii chipsets they support. Here is a list of common features that all mochips have.

• Direct boot of Wii/Gamecube backups
• Direct boot of homebrew in Gamecube mode
• Supports fullsize 4GB discs for gamecube homebrew
• Direct boot of different NTSC region Wii games/backups on US and JAP consoles
• Partial support for PAL region Wii/Gamecube games on NTSC consoles
• Supports multi-disc games for both Wii and Gamecube
• Supports DVD-R/DVD+R/DVD9 discs
• Built-in audio fix for Gamecube games
• Supports fullsize 4GB discs for gamecube homebrew
• Stealth mode
• Professional ESD packing
