The push is on again, and at 3:30pm, Jun 2nd our gov. tabled the new "Copyright Bill called C-32" which will if passed by our "House of Commons", which the gov. wants to have done by June 21th, alot of common everyday things will be illegal such as circumventing anything with a "digital lock" or DRM, Viewing website offering information on circumvention such as Xbox-Scene or Maxconsole, repairing or replacing Xbox 360 DVD drives and of course the installation of any sort of modchip.
This "Made-By-USA-Lobby-Groups" Law is wrong and we need to me our voices heard to keep consumer rights a priority in our country. It has been tried before in Canada and luckily it has always failed to passed due to the public outcry. Let make it happen again!
Please take the time to join the Facebook groups and fill in your online petition letters. Here are some link to various copyright related websites. I have also included a link to the proposed bill.
